Late September in Mykonos is often described as the best time to visit — summer's intensity has softened, the sea is still inviting, and the island is quieter.
| Daytime temperature | 23–26°C (73–79°F) |
| Evening temperature | 18–20°C (64–68°F) |
| Sea temperature | 22–24°C |
| Sunshine | ~11 hours per day |
| Rain | Extremely rare |
| Wind | Mykonos is famously windy — the Meltemi wind can be strong and persistent, especially in the afternoons. Refreshing but worth preparing for. |
| Humidity | Mild (65–70%) |
Mornings and early evenings can feel noticeably cooler than midday. Bring a light layer for early morning and after-sunset practices.
Yoga mats are provided by Jazala — you do not need to bring one.
European plug adapter if needed — Greece uses Type C/F sockets (two round pins), 230V/50Hz. Check whether your plugs are compatible and pack an adapter accordingly. Most modern phones, laptops, and tablets are dual-voltage and only need an adapter, not a converter.
The retreat includes two organized excursions: a private sailing experience and a sacred visit to the island of Delos.
Wear or bring a swimsuit, a light cover-up, and non-slip flat shoes or sandals. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat.
Delos is an archaeological UNESCO World Heritage site — the mythological birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, just a short boat ride from the villa. You will be walking on ancient cobblestones for 2–3 hours across an open-air site with very little shade. Wear comfortable closed-toe walking shoes (not heels or flip flops), light breathable clothing, and bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Water will be provided.
Both excursions are included in your retreat package. Details and timings will be shared closer to the date.
Greece uses the Euro (€). Since all meals, accommodation, excursions, and retreat activities are fully included, you will not need much cash. Credit and debit cards are widely accepted everywhere in Mykonos. You may wish to carry a small amount of Euros for personal tipping or any incidentals.
Greece operates on Eastern European Summer Time (EEST) — UTC+3 in September.
This is the same time zone as Jeddah and Riyadh. No jet lag to worry about.
| Plug type | Type C / Type F (European round 2-pin) |
| Voltage | 230V / 50Hz |
Greece uses European-style round 2-pin sockets. Depending on where you are traveling from, you may need a plug adapter. Most modern smartphones, laptops, and tablets are dual-voltage (100–240V) and work with just an adapter — check the label on any high-wattage appliances such as hair dryers or straighteners before packing.
Mykonos Town (Chora) is a wonderful place to explore between sessions and on free afternoons. The island is lined with beautiful boutiques, local designers, and artisan shops — all woven through its iconic whitewashed winding streets. You will have time during the retreat to wander and shop. Pack light on the way in — there is plenty of room to bring things back.
Our Shared Agreement as a Community
The Female Code Retreat is a held space — and every woman in it contributes to the quality of that container. Before you arrive, we invite you to read and carry these agreements with you.
What is shared inside our circle stays inside our circle. The stories, emotions, and breakthroughs that arise in shared sessions are sacred. Please hold what you witness with discretion and care.
Please keep your phone on silent during all sessions, practices, and shared spaces. We ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos of other participants without their explicit consent, and that group sessions remain a phone-free zone.
We are a diverse group of women with different bodies, histories, and boundaries. Please ask before touching, and honor a "no" without question. Respect one another's need for rest, silence, or solitude.
We ask everyone to honor quiet in shared spaces after 10:30 PM and before 7:00 AM, to protect the quality of rest for all.
The villa is our shared home for the week. Please treat it — and everything in it — with care and respect.
You have made a significant commitment to be here. We honor that by asking you to be present — not just physically, but fully. If something feels hard or uncomfortable, that is often exactly where the work is.
We are not here to be perfect. We are here to be real.
